Collection: Vikki Rivera

Vikki Fuentes Rivera first embraced painting as her main medium in late 2014, inspired by several online artist friends who began posting their own works of art.

She is a self-taught artist, developing her drawing skills through close observation of the positive side of life. Her subjects and techniques vary, primarily inspired by neo-impressionist styles, expressing her unique views of people and nature. Even her portraits adopt a more impressionist expression of the subjects—whether faces, facades, flowers, or landscapes. Her watercolor series on flowers is particularly popular among her clients, where her skillful use of hues and shades brings the canvas to life. Vikki is also very experimental in her techniques, using atypical colors and materials such as instant coffee to offer a different perspective in her works. She later immersed herself in acrylic and oil, where people appreciated her sense of narrative as interpreted in her canvases through vibrant colors and bold concepts.

Vikki has been featured in "Filipino Artist" magazine as one of the new artists, in addition to features and profiles in newspaper columns and television shows such as ‘Rise and Shine Pilipinas.’

Before dedicating herself to the canvas, Vikki expressed her creativity through music as a skilled guitarist, bassist, drummer, and keyboardist. She also engaged in music arrangement, creating jingles and contributing to church music ministry. Additionally, she worked on digital design projects, focusing on layout and brand designs for public figures and organizations.

Her experience in the creative field began long before the digital age. As an artist and account manager for an advertising firm in Davao City in the 80s, she helped establish campaigns that launched well-known brands in the city's business industry.

Currently, she focuses on the subject of Philippine landmarks and heritage, exploring their impact on Filipino culture and lives.

Apart from friends and some high-profile art aficionados who have either commissioned or bought her artworks, Vikki has also participated in art exhibits sponsored by institutional organizations such as the Rotary Club and the UP Beta Sigma Fraternity, including:
